Bank Holiday December 2023: Banks will remain closed for a total of 18 days in December, the last month of the year. This bank strike is taking place in different institutions on different dates. That means BOB is open on the day it belongs to PNB.
Bank Holiday December 2023: December is not a month of festivals, yet banks may remain closed for a total of 18 days. Apart from gazetted holiday, weekly holiday and holiday on second and fourth Saturday, there is also a nationwide six-day strike of bank employees. This strike is taking place in different banks on different days.
Let us tell you that All India Bank Employees Association (AIBEA) has called for a 6-day nationwide strike in December, due to which different banks will be affected on different dates. For example, on December 4, 2023, employees of Punjab National Bank (PNB), Punjab and Sindh Bank, State Bank of India (SBI) will be on strike. In such a situation, work in bank branches will be affected.
