There is a total holiday of 13 days in September,

– 9th September – Indrajata
– 10th September – Sri Naravane Guru Jayanti / 2nd Saturday
– 11th September – Sunday Holiday

In which cities will the banks be closed?
Banks will remain closed in Thiruvananthapuram and Kochi on September 7 and 8 on account of Onam. On September 9, there will be a bank holiday in Gangtok, Sikkim due to Indrajata. According to the RBI calendar, banks in Thiruvananthapuram and Kochi in Kerala will remain closed on September 10 on account of Sri Naravane Guru Jayanti.
