Bank Holidays November 2023: Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the list of bank holidays for the month of November. According to the list, due to several festivals and regular weekend holidays, banks of states and union territories will remain closed for a total of 15 days in the month of November.

According to the list, due to several festivals and regular weekend holidays, banks of states and union territories will remain closed for a total of 15 days in the month of November. However, customers can do their work through online banking and ATM transactions during the holidays. Following the instructions of RBI, both public sector and private sector banks remain closed on the second and fourth Saturday of the month. Apart from regular Saturday and Sunday holidays, banks will remain closed across the country on national holidays like Diwali and local festivals in November.

  • November 1 (Wednesday): Kannada Rajyotsava/Karva Chauth – Bank closed in Karnataka, Manipur, Himachal Pradesh.
  • November 5 – Sunday
  • 10 November (Friday): Wangala Festival – Bank closed in Meghalaya.
  • 11 November – Second Saturday
  • 12 November (Sunday): Banks will remain closed due to Diwali.
  • 13 November (Monday): Govardhan Puja/Lakshmi Puja (Diwali)/Diwali – Bank closed in Tripura, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, Manipur, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra.
  • November 14 (Tuesday): Diwali (Bali Pratipada)/Deepawali/Vikram Sawant New Year Day/Lakshmi Puja – Bank closed in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Sikkim.
  • 15 November (Wednesday): Bhaidooj / Chitragupta Jayanti / Lakshmi Puja (Diwali) / Ningol Chakkouba / Bhratridwitiya – Bank closed in Sikkim, Manipur, Uttar Pradesh, Bengal, Himachal Pradesh.
