New Delhi. The first month of the year is about to end. After four days, the new month i.e. February is going to start. There are going to be a lot of bank holidays in February 2024. There will be no work in banks for 11 days out of 29 days of this month. Apart from the weekly holidays of Saturday and Sunday, banks will not function due to many festivals and some important days. In such a situation, if you are also thinking of going to the bank branch next month to complete some important work, then first check the list of holidays.
The Reserve Bank releases the list of bank holidays every calendar year. It is important to know here that banks across the country will not remain closed for 11 days in February. Many of the holidays in the holiday list released by RBI are of national level. Banking services will remain closed across the country on that day. At the same time, some holidays are of local or regional level. On those days, bank branches are closed only in the states associated with it.
Online services will remain operational.
Due to bank holidays, sometimes important work gets stuck. But, now because banks have made most of the services online, there is not much problem. The special thing is that online services of banks remain operational on holidays. Therefore, you can do many things including transferring money from one bank account to another through net banking, mobile banking or UPI.

- 4 February 2024- Banks will remain closed across the country due to Sunday.
- 10 February 2024- Due to the second Saturday of the month, there will be a holiday in banks across the country.
- 11 February 2024- Due to Sunday, banks will remain closed in the entire country.
- 14 February 2024- Banks will remain closed in Agartala, Bhubaneswar, Kolkata due to Basant Panchami and Saraswati Puja.
- 15 February 2024- Banks will not function in Imphal due to Louis Ngai Ni.
- 18 February 2024- There will be a holiday in banks across the country due to Sunday.
- 19 February 2024- Banks will remain closed in Maharashtra due to Chhatrapati Shivaji Jayanti.
- 20 February 2024- Banks will remain closed in Aizawl and Itanagar due to State Day.
- 24 February 2024- Due to second Saturday, there will be a holiday in banks across the country.
- 25 February 2024- Due to Sunday, banks will remain closed across the country.
- 26 February 2024- There will be a holiday in banks in Itanagar due to Nayokum.
