According to banks, if you also use mobile banking, then be careful because your bank account may be empty. 17 banks in the country, including SBI, have issued an alert for their customers. Actually, a dangerous virus is emptying people’s bank accounts. People do not even know about this virus and money is also withdrawn from their bank account. In just a few seconds, this virus empties your entire bank account through your phone or laptop. The government had earlier warned Android users about malware, Who was stealing the information of users while generating income tax refund. Now another virus named Drinic malware has arrived. Who is stealing money of bank customers by sending APK file through SMS. If news is to be believed, it also includes an app called iAssist.

Drinik malware is targeting bank customers like this

Actually, once this virus is installed on the device i.e. your mobile, it starts reading the call log of the users using the APK file. It also takes necessary permissions through requests. Once given permission, this app starts working without informing the users. It also disables your Google Play protection. It also disables your auto jester and captures any key you press.

Steals data

It has also been seen that this version of Drinik malware opens the site of the original income tax instead of the phishing page. It then steals all the information through screen recording. Here users also write personal details on the site and auto-save it. Here a Fake dialog box opens in which the user is told about getting the refund. Simply clicking on this page opens the page for phishing and then it steals all your personal information.

Steals PIN and Login ID

The malware displays a screen for biometric verification before showing the virus login page. When you record the screen after entering the PIN, the biometric steals the PIN and it also steals your keystrokes. They also send money to their servers and withdraw money from your account.
