15 holidays falling in August

Out of 15 holidays falling in August, 6 holidays have passed, remaining 9 holidays are left. There are some regional holidays and some regular ones. Banks will remain closed only in some states on regional holidays, while other places will remain open. Earlier, from August 13 to August 16, banks were closed for four consecutive days. Banks will remain closed for 5 days from today

Today from August 19 to August 23, that is, the banks will remain locked for the whole 5 days. Today there will be no work in banks due to Muharram. Agartala, Belapur, Jammu, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, Raipur, and Srinagar banks will remain closed on this day. After this, banks closed in New Delhi, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Kanpur, Bhopal, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Ranchi, Bangalore, Chennai, Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram on 20 August due to Onam. There will be a bank holiday in Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram on August 21 on the occasion of Thiruvonam and on August 23 on the occasion of Sree Narayana Guru Jayanti.

August 20 – Muharram/First Onam – New Delhi, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Kanpur, Bhopal, Hyderabad, Banks closed in Jaipur, Ranchi, Bangalore, Chennai, Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram
21 August – Thiruvonam – Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram Bank closed
22 August – Sunday
23 August – Sree Narayana Guru Jayanti – Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram Bank closed

Banks will be closed for 4 days at the end of the month

After this, banks will remain closed for four days of the month. August 28 will be the fourth Saturday of the month, so banks will remain closed, on August 29, banks will be closed because of Sunday. Banks will remain closed in Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Gangtok, Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur, Lucknow, Patna, Raipur, Ranchi, Shillong, Shimla and Srinagar due to Janmashtami/Krishna Jayanti on 30th August, finally on the last day of the month. Banks will remain closed in Hyderabad on August 31 on account of Shri Krishna Ashtami.
