The platform had been testing the vacation mode feature since the year 2018, but its development has now been stopped forever. This related to the app has been revealed in the latest report.

Recently, the ‘Vacation Mode’ test was being done on the app with beta users on WhatsApp, but users will never get this feature. Since 2018, the messaging service was testing this app for Android and iOS users, but now its testing has been completely stopped.

With the help of the Vacation Mode feature on WhatsApp, it was revealed that messages can be completely ignited and chats can be hidden. That is, users could take full leave from this app. Platform WABetaInfo, which monitors WhatsApp changes and new updates, has reported in a new report that WhatsApp has now stopped working on this feature. This feature was till now under-development but will no longer be worked on.

Beta users were also not found.
Vacation mode was being tested for almost two years, but public beta users were also unable to use it. If this feature was rolled out, the option of ‘Archive Chats Ignore’ would have been available to the users. This feature was going to be available to users in the notifications section of the WhatsApp settings. In this way, users could take a break from WhatsApp and completely ignore all the chats and messages that came up while on vacation.

The mute only option is
currently different from muting chat feature chat on WhatsApp as muted chats appear in the same order in the app. When you mute a chat in WhatsApp, it does not go down like archive chats and continues to appear in the window as before. Notification users of the messages coming in this chat are not visible and the app is going to give the option to mute chats forever.
