UIDAI CEO Saurabh Garg said that efforts are being made to partner with the birth registrar to give Aadhaar numbers to the newborns. He told that every year 2.5 crore children are born in the country.
At present, Aadhaar Enrollment has been done for 99.7 percent of the population of the country.
Last year, 30 lakh registrations were done in 10,000 camps,
he told that now our effort is to register Aadhaar of children born in the hospital. According to Garg, last year 10,000 camps were set up in remote areas, where many people did not have Aadhar cards.
Aadhar registration of about 30 lakh people was done through the camp there.
In this way, Aadhar will be made with birth,
Saurabh Garg told that by clicking the photo of the child at the time of birth, he will be given Aadhar card. It will be linked with one of their parents.
He said that the biometrics of children below the age of five are not taken, but Aadhaar is linked with one of the parents. After the age of five, their biometrics will be taken.

A copy of any one of your driving license, PAN card or passport will also have to be submitted as an address proof. Within a few days of registration, the child Aadhar card will come to your address.
