SBI Customers Alert: If you are a customer of State Bank of India (SBI), then there is very useful news for you. These days a message is coming automatically from SBI customer’s account to deduct Rs 147.50. In such a situation, many customers are looking upset. If you have also received such a message, then there is no need to panic. Let us know why the bank is deducting this money from your account?

This is the reason

According to the bank, this money is being deducted by SBI for the annual maintenance charge of the ATM and debit card used by you. Please tell that this Rs 147.50 is deducted from the account every year by the bank.
SBI charges ₹125 as an annual maintenance charge and an additional 18 per cent GST for multiple debit cards used by its customers. So, if we add GST to ₹125, it comes to ₹147.50. Apart from this, the bank also charges ₹300 + GST for replacing the debit card.

Change in Transaction Charges

SBI Cards and Payment Services Limited has revised its transaction charges for various credit card related transactions. SBI Card had stated on its website that “a processing fee of Rs 99 + applicable taxes will be levied on all fare payment transactions from November 15, 2022.”
