Atal Pension Yojana: If you have an account in Atal Pension Yojana or you are planning to open an account in this scheme of the government, then this news is for you. Under this scheme running in the memory of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, pension is guaranteed after 60 years. It is being run by the government to give social security to those working in the unorganized sector.

Started in June 2015,

Recently the government has made a big change regarding this scheme. Those filing income returns will be able to subscribe to this scheme only till September 30. After this, those who file ITR will not get the benefit of the scheme. Atal Pension Yojana was launched on 1 June 2015 by the Modi government of the Center.

Applications received after 30 September will be canceled

Under this scheme, the eligible elderly are given pension from Rs 1,000 to Rs 5,000 every month. In March 2022, the number of people who have registered in this scheme has crossed 4 crores. The Finance Ministry said in its order last day that income tax payers cannot invest in this scheme from October 1. Such applications received after 30th date will be rejected.

42 per month investment

That is, if you file an income tax return, then you will have to subscribe and open an account by September 30 in any case. Otherwise, they will not be able to get the benefit of Atal Pension Yojana. According to the rules of this scheme, people between the age group of 18 to 40 years can register in it. For this, the applicant has to open a savings account in the bank or post office. From this account every month your Rs 42 to Rs 1454 will be deducted. After 60 years, pension is available from Rs 1,000 to Rs 5,000 every month.
