Sanjay Mishra, New Delhi. After giving a befitting reply to the treachery of Chinese soldiers in the Galvan Valley on Monday night, the Indian Army is not ready to leave any stone unturned on this front. The army has increased deployment on the front fronts of all borders along China. Many border villages are also being evacuated. Meanwhile, in a conversation held at the military commander level to normalize the current situation, the Army has again clarified on Thursday that China has no other way than to restore the earlier position in the Galvan Valley.

At the same time, due to the attitude of the Chinese army engaged in trickery to stake claim on Galvan Valley, no solution was reached for the third consecutive day. However, no official statement was made by the two sides regarding the outcome of the meeting. The meeting of the India-China military commander level was also held on Thursday, close to Point-14 in Galvan Valley where 20 Indian soldiers were killed in a fierce violent clash on Monday night. Strategic sources again said that although China was not opening its casualties in this incident, but about 45 soldiers were killed. Meanwhile, the Indian Army has denied the US newspaper’s report, clarifying that no Indian soldier has been missing since Monday’s clash.

Efforts to relieve stress also intensify

Efforts to remove tension from both countries have also started intensifying. In addition to the talks between the local military commanders in the Galvan sector, there is a constant contact between the foreign ministries of the two countries. The Indian Embassy in Beijing and the Chinese Embassy in New Delhi are playing an active role. The constitution and Wag Mechanism (WMCC) constituted to resolve the boundary dispute between the two countries and to form coordination and cooperation is also active.

Foreign ministers of the two countries are also scheduled to speak on 23 June. This will happen during the meeting of Foreign Ministers of Russia, India and China (RIC). Although the bilateral issue is not raised in this virtual meeting, it is believed that Russia will try to reduce tensions between its two allies. After the Chinese army violently attacked the Indian Army in Galvan on Monday, India considered boycotting the meeting.

The Indian Army is adamant on the condition of Chinese soldiers going beyond the LAC

In order to thwart any such Chinese plan after the incident on Monday night, the Indian Army set off its temporary tents to the Chinese troops on the first condition of crossing the LAC from Galvan valley outside. According to strategic sources, the Chinese military is still showing many colors of its tactic rather than stress reduction measures and in this order is also trying to block the flow of Galvan river with the help of bulldozers.

In view of the deep tension on the front of LAC in East Ladakh and the cunningness of Chinese troops, the Indian Army has directed the evacuation of the border villages of Demchok and Pangong areas and increased the number of troops deployed on the front. Mobile phone networks of these border villages have also been closed for the time being. According to the sources, apart from Galvan Valley, the army has also increased the deployment of its troops in Daulat Beg Oldi, Chushul and Depasang areas.
