The Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare said that pensioners can submit life certificates using the doorstep banking alliance of 12 public sector banks or digital life certificate submission by using the doorstep service of the Department of Posts.

Doorstep Banking Alliance is an alliance between 12 public sector banks, they will provide their services at the doorstep of the customer. The Indian banks in the count of 12 banks are State Bank of India (SBI), Punjab National Bank (PNB), Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Canara Bank, Bank of Maharashtra, Central Bank of India, Indian Bank, Indian Bank.

An agent will come to your home on the date and time as per the appointment and collect an online life certificate using Jeevan Pramaan App. However, the bank may charge some fee for this service. Information about this is not given on the bank’s website. SBI charges Rs 75 plus GST for this service.
India Post launched the service
India Post has informed by tweeting that senior citizens can easily avail Jeevan Pramaan services from the Common Service Center (CAC) from the post office near their area. According to the official website of the department, the Government of India wants to solve the problem of obtaining digital life certificate for pensioner scheme. So that, the certificate can be easily found.
