In her four-minute long video message, Akshay said that the presence of drugs in Bollywood is similar to that in other industries but one should not make the assumption that everyone involved in this profession is part of the problem.

He said, ‘Today I am speaking with you with a heavy heart. I have wanted to say a lot in the last few weeks but there is a lot of negativity everywhere. ‘ Akshay said, ‘We can be called a star but Bollywood is made due to the love of all of you. We are not just an industry, but through our films we have shown Indian values and culture all over the world.

He said that cinema has always been a reflection of society and has been showing burning issues like corruption, poverty or unemployment and will continue to do so.

What did Akshay say about Sushant

“Since the sudden death of Sushant Singh Rajput, many such issues have come up which have given us as much pain as you and these issues have forced us to go into our own way. We have been forced to see many such flaws in our film industry. Which is very important to pay attention to. Like there is talk of drugs today, how can I lie with my hand on my heart that this problem does not act?

The 34-year-old actor’s sudden death has shaken the entire nation. Initially, the Mumbai police called it a suicide and started investigating the case on the issue of suicide and nepotism. But a few days after Sushant’s death, based on a complaint by his father KK Singh, an FIR was lodged against actress Riya Chakraborty and others living in a live-in relationship with Sushant. After which the ED started investigating the case and then after hearing the FIR filed in Patna, the Supreme Court handed over the investigation to the case to the CBI.
