In this message, an alert has been given regarding SMS related to KYC. Actually, through e-KYC, messages and calls on Airtel’s number, thugs have started making people their victims. That’s why Airtel is warning its customers.

Airtel said in a message sent to its more than 350 million customers, ‘Alert! Airtel never sends KYC related SMS for your account/SIM update from 10 digit mobile number. Beware of such frauds and never share any OTP/code on call.
Block fake calls and sms
If you want to avoid such fake calls, then you should activate the company’s DND service for that. With this, you will be able to increase the trouble caused by unwanted calls and messages. You can activate this service through call or SMS. Apart from this, you can also activate it by visiting Airtel’s website.
Activate DND like this
To activate DND online, you have to go to the Do Not Disturb page. After this click on the Click here button appearing in Airtel Mobile Service and then enter your Airtel number. After that click on One Time Password and then submit OTP. After that click on Stop All and press submit button.
Activate DND like this through SMS or Call
If you want to activate DND on your Airtel number through call or message, then call 1909 and then follow the instructions mentioned. This will activate the service on your number. Apart from this, to activate it through message, you can write START 0 and send it to 1909. Let us tell you that after completing the process, this service will be activated on your number within about 7 days.
