For this, the DGCA has given instructions to the airport administration. The flights that have been changed include Indigo’s Kolkata Lucknow, Lucknow Bangalore, Lucknow Patna, Lucknow Mumbai. The time for Air Asia’s Delhi Lucknow and Lucknow Delhi flights has changed.

According to airport officials, when an aircraft goes up, its engine draws air very fast. In such a situation, the rods of uprooted pads can go into the engine with air. This can cause damage to the engine after takeoff. In such a situation, the aircraft can also be caught fire. If this happens, a big accident can happen.
There will be no emergency landing
After the repair work starts, there will be no emergency landing here. According to officials, even the diverted aircraft that come here will not be able to land due to bad weather, fog or any other reason. Already, regular inspection and testing of runway turning pads is being done in view of the situation. Its responsibility has been given to the team of DGCA Assistant Director Satyendra Verma. Assistant Directors themselves are inspecting the scene daily with their team.
These flights will be affected
Landing and takeoff closure at night at the airport will affect 17 flights. According to airport officials, they also include international flights. Told that there are two flights in Air Asia between Delhi Lucknow after 9:30 pm, there are two flights of IndiGo on this route.
Similarly, IndiGo flight for Bengaluru and Kolkata is also after 9.30 pm. Apart from this, there is also a flight of Bangkok Lucknow Thai Air Asia at night. After 12 noon Hyderabad is IndiGo flight to Lucknow. While there is one flight each of Salaam Air and Oman Air between Muscat Lucknow.
