This accident happened in Meghnani Nagar area within three minutes of the plane taking off from Sardar Patel International Airport. The plane crashed at the Doctors Hostel.

According to Air Traffic Control (ATC), AI-171 took off from runway 23 of Ahmedabad airport at 1:39 pm. Shortly after taking off from runway 23, the plane crashed.

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has ordered an investigation to know the reasons of this accident. However, after finding the black box, it will be revealed how this plane crashed. Actually, the black box is never destroyed. All the activities of the plane are recorded in it.
How did the rescue work go on?
Three teams of NDRF i.e. 90 people are working in the rescue work. Three more teams are coming from Vadodara.
After the accident, Union Home Minister Amit Shah is going to Ahmedabad. Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu has also left. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself is keeping an eye on this entire incident.
