Air India issued a statement on Friday saying that the company is going to start 20 new flights next week. Five additional flights to Birmingham, nine additional flights to London and six additional flights to San Francisco will be launched during the week. Along with this, more than 5,000 additional seats will be offered to the customers every week. This move of the company will increase facilities for those traveling on these routes.

Number of flights will increase

Currently, Air India operates 34 flights per week to the UK. After this announcement of the company, the number of flights will increase to 48. The company said in its statement that Air India will now have direct flights from seven Indian cities to the UK capital. On the other hand, Air India flights to America will increase from 34 to 40 per week.
