Aadhaar Verifications: Now Aadhaar verification can be done offline also. The government has issued a notification for this.

Aadhaar Verification: At present, aadhaar card has become an essential document. Without this document, no government work is completed nor can you take advantage of any government facility. However, a good news is coming out regarding the Aadhar card. Now Aadhaar verification can also be done offline. The government has recently issued a notification regarding this update.

Aadhar verification will also be done offline

Now people can get their Aadhaar verified offline by sharing a digitally signed document generated by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). For this, only the last 4 digits of the Aadhaar number will have to be used.

The Aadhaar (Authentication and Offline Verification) Regulations 2021 were notified on November 8 and published on the official website on Tuesday. In which a detailed procedure has been prescribed for offline verification of Aadhaar for e-Know Your Customer (e-KYC) process.

In this way you can verify Aadhaar

UIADI has introduced QR Code Verification, Aadhar Paperless Offline e-KYC Verification, e-Aadhaar Verification by the Authority from time to time in addition to the existing process on Online Verification. (e-Aadhaar Verification), Offline paper based verification and any other type of offline verification has been added.

With this new rule, Aadhaar gives the user the option to share it as a digital signature. This will make it easier to do Aadhaar paperless offline e-KYC. For which name, address, gender and date of birth, and photograph can be shared with the agency authorized for e-KYC from the last 4 digits of Aadhaar.

Verification can also be done in these ways

Other modes of verification like one-time PIN and biometric based authentication will also continue with offline option. Agencies authorized to verify Aadhaar data can choose any method of authentication.

The new rules allow Aadhaar number holders to revoke the consent given to any verification agency for storing their e-KYC data at any time.
