Aadhaar Card Update: The use of Aadhaar has now become necessary for your identity as well as many facilities. Actually, there are many such government schemes, to take advantage of which or to file income tax return, you must have Aadhaar. Apart from this, it is necessary to link your mobile number with your Aadhaar. Because if you do any financial transaction related to Aadhar card, then for its verification OTP comes on your same mobile number which is linked to Aadhar. Or on email id. Therefore your mobile number should be registered on the UIDAI website.
If you have changed your mobile number then you will not get OTP for Aadhaar verification. In such a situation, it is very important that you change your mobile number linked with Aadhaar. Linking new mobile number with Aadhaar number is quite easy.
If your mobile number linked with Aadhaar has been lost, lost or changed and you want to link another number, then you will have to register for it by visiting the Aadhaar Registration Center. There you have to do this.
- You will be given an Aadhaar correction form to link the phone number. Give correct information in it.
- Submit the completely filled form to the officer along with a fee of Rs.25.
- A slip will be given to you after submitting the form. This slip will contain the update request number. With this request number, you can check whether the new mobile number is linked with your Aadhaar or not.
- Your Aadhaar will be linked with the new mobile number in a few days.
- When your Aadhaar is linked with the new mobile number, then OTP will come on your same number.
- Using that OTP you can download your Aadhar card online.
