UIDAI gave necessary information regarding Bal AADHAAR today on Wednesday. It said that child Aadhaar is valid only till a certain age and if necessary updates are not made then it may become inactive.



UIDAI said that child Aadhaar can be used only till the age of five years. If the biometric of the child is not updated at the age of five, then it will become inactive.

In such a situation, if a child in your family has reached the age of five years, then his biometric must be updated in Aadhaar, otherwise it will become inactive. When Aadhaar is inactive, it cannot be used as a government or private document.

You can visit appointments.uidai.gov.in to update Aadhaar. Apart from this, by calling 1947, you can get the necessary information in this regard.

After this, following the given guidelines, make a new Aadhar card of the child.
