New Delhi. Aadhar Card has become a very important document for many facilities nowadays. To get the facility of many government schemes in the country and file income tax returns, you must have Aadhaar, which should be linked to your mobile number. The reason for this is that whenever you want to do any work with the help of your Aadhaar number, then an OTP comes for its verification. It comes on your registered mobile number or email id.

If your mobile number has changed, then the OTP to validate your Aadhaar will come on your old number. In such a situation, if you want to complete any process with OTP verification, then you will not be able to do so. If you want to use the mAadhaar app, then it is mandatory to link your mobile number with Aadhaar for that too.
