Aadhaar Card New Update: Big news! Now Aadhaar cannot be used for this work, UIDAI gave the reason

Aadhar Card: Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has excluded Aadhar from the list of documents. Now Aadhaar cannot be used as document proof. EPFO has removed Aadhaar from the list of documents to be used as proof of date of birth.

UIDAI gave this reason for not using Aadhaar for DOB proof

Due to its specialty, Aadhaar is recognized as a proof of identity and proof of address for the Aadhaar holder. In a way, this is a big proof for ID and address. However, it cannot be used as date of birth (DoB) proof. Aadhaar is a 12-digit personal identification number issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India on behalf of the Government of India. This number serves as proof of identity and address, anywhere in India.

You can use these documents to change date of birth in EPF account
