The postal department is training many postmen to make Aadhar cards from door to door. Earlier, the facility of making Aadhar card was being given in post offices and banks.
Trained postmen will go door-to-door to make Aadhar cards for children. Apart from this, the postmen will also do the work of linking the mobile with Aadhaar in the Aadhaar card. For this, Aadhar card holders will have to pay a fee of Rs 50.

Aadhar Card has started the facility of making Aadhar card even for children younger than 5 years. This Aadhar card of children is also called ‘Blue Aadhar Card’. The Aadhar card of the children is made by linking the Aadhar card of either of their parents. Since the biometric details of children below 5 years are not developed. Therefore, their biometric details are not taken in the Aadhar card of the children.
Documents required for Aadhar card of children
To get the Aadhar card for the children, the parent must have the birth certificate of the child. Along with this, one of the mother or father must have Aadhar card.
