UIDAI has told that to update mobile number in Aadhaar, you have to visit Aadhaar Seva Kendra. For this you have to go to https://appointments.uidai.gov.in/bookappointment.aspx. Here you can book an appointment for your nearest Aadhar Seva Kendra.


Biometric Authentication is required

From the point of view of security, the facility of updating mobile number is not provided online. For this you need biometric authentication. Aadhar Help Center itself has stated, “Biometric authentication is required to update mobile number. It cannot be done online or through post. For details of your nearest Aadhar center visit this link – https:/ /appointments.uidai.gov.in/EACenter.aspx.”

50 rupees fee

If you want to update the mobile number in your Aadhar card, then you have to pay a fee of Rs 50. Aadhaar Help Center has said in response to a user’s question that Aadhaar is updated through a set process. This takes from five to 90 days after the request.
