To update Aadhaar, keep these documents with
you, to update Aadhaar card online, keep the mobile number with which your Aadhaar is linked, because OTP will come on the mobile number during the updation. Explain that you can update your name, address, gender, date of birth, mobile number and email address online. For other changes, you will have to visit the Aadhaar Enrollment Center. Follow this process to update information in Aadhaar online
>> In the process of making changes in Aadhaar, first of all go to Self Service Update Portal of Aadhaar.
>> Enter your Aadhar Number here. After this you will get a one time password on the registered mobile number. After this, log in by entering OTP and go to the update portal.
>> Then click on the button ‘Data Update Request’ given above. After that select the option which you want to update/improve. You can update all the options if you want. After selecting the option aadhar update form will open. Here you can modify the information according to your need. Here name and address information will be updated in Hindi as well as in English.
>> After that re-check your given new information. Once the verification is complete, click on Submit Update Request.
>> You will also have to provide documents related to the information you want to change. No documents are required to make changes in email id, mobile number and gender. But for change in name, date of birth and address, you will have to provide documents related to it. These documents are valid – Passport, PAN Card, Ration / PDS Photo Card, Voter ID and Driving License etc.
>> After updating the information you have to submit it. After this, you will have the update request number on your screen, from which you can track your request status.
