Now you must be wondering whether the digital version of Aadhar card is as valid as the hard copy? So the answer is- yes. According to UIDAI, e-Aadhaar is as useful as the physical copy for all Aadhaar related work, that is, there is no difference between the two.
How to Download Aadhar Soft Copy?
You can download the soft copy of Aadhaar sitting at home from the website uidai.gov.in or eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in . For this, you have to open the website and click on ‘My Aadhaar’. Then the section of Download Aadhaar will open there. In this you can download e-Aadhaar in three ways.
E-Aadhaar can be downloaded with the help of Aadhaar Number, Enrollment ID and Virtual ID. You can proceed by choosing one of these options. Then you can also choose whether you want a masked base or unmasked. Now you have to enter the captcha code and click on send OTP. Now an OTP will be received on your registered mobile number, fill it in the box and download your e-Aadhaar.
