Keeping this need in mind, the Central Government has set up many centers in the country today, which solve the problems related to Aadhar card for us. From making Aadhar card to making Aadhar card, many works related to Aadhar are done at these centers. However, the government has also given online facility for this. Now we can do many work related to Aadhar card on our own without going to the centre, even sitting at home. This saves our time. Apart from this, many people also use e-Aadhaar, which is as valid as the hard copy of Aadhar card.

What is e-Sign, how can I download?

Let us tell you, e-Aadhaar is a secure copy of your Aadhaar password. It bears the digital signature of the competent authority of UIDAI. E-Aadhaar can be downloaded in two ways. Firstly, you can download it using your Aadhar number and secondly, its enrollment number can be used to download Aadhar card.



Use these websites, the Process is very easy for this. Just follow this method-

1. First of all you go to https://uidai.gov.in/ website or https://eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in . This is the official website given by the government for Aadhar card.

2. After this right click on the Validity Unknown icon. Here you will get the Signature Verification Status window.

3. Then click on ‘Signature properties’.

4. After this the command of ‘Show certificate’ will appear on the screen. Click it.

5. Then click on ‘NIC Sub-CA for NIC 2011, National Informatics Centre’.

6. Go to the ‘Trust’ tab and then click on ‘Add to Trusted Identity’.

7. Follow all the steps mentioned further carefully and then click on Validate signature.


After following these steps, your e-signature will be valid on your e-Aadhaar.
