This is how aadhaar card of a newborn is made

According to the Unique Identification Authority of India i.e. UIDAI, Aadhaar card can also be made for a newborn child. For this, only the birth certificate of the born child is required. But if you do not have the child’s birth certificate, then you can get the child’s Aadhaar card made through the discharge paper received from the hospital. Also, to get the child’s Aadhaar card made, it is necessary to have an Aadhaar card of either the mother or the father. Aadhaar number and biometrics of either the mother or the father are required for the newborn’s Aadhaar card.

Aadhaar will have to be updated after 5 years

Please tell that after five years of getting the Aadhaar card of the newborn child made, you will have to get it updated as well. Aadhar card of blue color is issued for children of 5 years. It is mandatory to update the bio matrix of Aadhaar card of children after they are 5 years old and after they are 15 years old. No fee has to be paid for biometrics updation done at the age of 5 years and 15 years. The biometrics in the children’s Aadhaar card is completely free.
