A chance to buy a flat for Rs 4.50 lakh, scheme to be launched tomorrow; Know – Application Process

Ghaziabad [Ashish Gupta]. Housing Scheme in UP: In the   Corona crisis, there is a better chance of buying your flat for low income group for Rs 2 lakh. The Ghaziabad Development Authority will launch a scheme of 1035 flats in Rajnagar Extension under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) Urban on Thursday. Individuals with an annual family income of up to three lakh rupees can apply. The application process will run till July 10 and it will be allotted through draw.

Private builders are building flats


These flats are being built by two private builders. Under the provisions of the government, only the GDA will draw the scheme and make the allocation through draw. Each flat costs Rs 4.50 lakh. In this, only two lakh rupees will be taken after the allocation from the applicant. He can pay outright if he wants. If you want to get an EMI, you will have to deposit 25 percent as soon as you get the allotment letter. The remaining 75 percent can be paid in six half-yearly installments with 7.50 percent interest. The Center will contribute one and a half lakh rupees to the builder and the State Government will contribute one lakh rupees.

How to apply


For application one has to go to www.pmaygda.upda.in. Two options will be found here. The first option can be registered by entering a mobile number. In the second option, one can register by entering an Aadhaar number. Along with the application, a deposit amount of Rs 5000 and processing fee of Rs 50 will have to be submitted. The registration amount will be adjusted on allotment in the draw. The allottee will have to pay the outstanding amount of Rs 1.95 lakh. If the draw is not named, the registration amount will be returned to the applicant.

  •   The carpet area of ​​the flat is between 22.77 to 22.81 sq.m.

  •   There will be a toilet, a bathroom and a kitchen

Conditions for application

  •   Family income up to three lakh rupees per annum
  •   Must be a resident of Ghaziabad
  •   Age minimum 18 years required
  •   There should not be a permanent house in the name of the applicant and his family members in any part of the country

Santosh Kumar Rai (Secretary, GDA) says that flats are being built by two builders under the PM Awas Yojana. Their scheme will come out on Thursday. The GDA will only take applications and this is where the allocation process will be done. People with an annual family income of three lakh rupees can apply in it. For this, it is necessary to be a resident of Ghaziabad.
