But if the new fitment factor is 1.92 or 2.28, then the pension can increase almost twofold.
Pensioners with grade pay Rs 2000
The current pension of pensioners who have retired on grade pay Rs 2000 is around Rs 13,000. If the fitment factor 1.92 is implemented, their pension can increase to Rs 24,960. At the same time, level 3 pensioners can get a pension of Rs 27,040 on the basis of fitment factor 2.28. Those whose pension is currently Rs 16,000 are also likely to get Rs 30,720.
Pensioners with grade pay 2800
Employees who have retired on grade pay of Rs 2800, their current pension is Rs 15,700. According to the new pay commission and fitment factor 1.92, it can increase to Rs 30,140. If fitment factor 2.28 is implemented, the pension can reach Rs 32,656. The minimum pension of level 5 pensioners can be Rs 39,936 (1.92 factor) and Rs 43,264 (2.28 factor).
Pensioners with grade pay of Rs 4200
Level 6 employees who have retired on grade pay of Rs 4200, their current pension is around Rs 28,450. If the fitment factor of 1.92 is applied, then this pension can increase to Rs 54,624. At the same time, on the fitment factor of 2.28, this pension can reach Rs 59,176.
