7th Pay Commission Table: Big gift to government employees before Holi, 4 percent increase in DA, 8 months arrears will be given


Gandhinagar: 7th Pay Commission Table: The government finally gave the gift of Holi to the government employees who were waiting for the increase in dearness allowance for a long time. The government has decided to increase DA by 4 percent before Holi. Not only this, the government has also decided to pay 8 months of arrears to the government employees. That means government employees will get increased dearness allowance from July 2023.

According to the information received from the 7th Pay Commission Table, the Gujarat government has decided to increase the dearness allowance of government employees by 4 percent and an order in this regard can be issued anytime. This decision of the government will directly benefit 4.45 lakh employees and 4.63 lakh salaried people. Along with this, the government has also decided to pay the arrears of 8 months in three installments.

At the same time, keeping in mind the interest of the employees, the government has decided that more contributions will be deposited in their NPS accounts also. If the employees contribute 10 percent as before, the state government will contribute 14 percent. Also, the state government has now decided to calculate the cash payment in lieu of 10 days LTC as per the Seventh Pay Commission. Till now it was available as per the Sixth Pay Commission.
