Fitment factor can be increased

With the increase in dearness allowance, the central government can also increase the fitment factor of the employees. After the increase in the fitment factor, the minimum basic salary of the employees will increase. There has been a demand from government servants to increase the fitment factor for a long time. At present, it is at the level of 2.57 percent, which is being demanded to be increased to 3.68 percent. If it is increased, then the minimum basic salary will increase from 18 thousand to 26 thousand rupees.

Fitment factor may increase in Diwali

According to the news going on in the media, a decision is possible regarding the increase in the fitment factor of the central employees before Diwali or Dussehra. The basic salary of all the employees is decided by the fitment factor itself.

DA may increase by 4 percent in Navratri

Central employees have been demanding an increase in DA for a long time. According to media reports, this Navratri, the government can announce an increase of up to 4 percent in DA. If we talk about this year, then a 4 percent increase in the dearness allowance of the employees is believed to be fixed.

It can be approved in the cabinet meeting to be held on 28 September. After this, the increased dearness allowance will be applicable from July 2022. Apart from this, it is clear from the data of All India Consumer Price Index i.e. AICPI that not only this year but also in January next year, dearness allowance of central employees will increase.
