Central Government Employee News: The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) has issued a new circular under which the conditions of promotion of central employees have been changed. After this change, in how many years there will be promotion of employees, let us know.


7th Pay Commission CPC: Good news is coming for lakhs of Central Government employees and pensioners. There is going to be an increase of 4 percent in the Dearness Allowance (DA) of the employees. This can be announced in the cabinet meeting to be held on 28 September. Just before this decision, the government has issued a new decree. A new circular has come from the government regarding the promotion of employees. The government has changed the rules of Minimum Qualifying Services for promotion.

Minimum Qualifying Services rules changed

The Department of Personal and Training (DoPT) has issued a memorandum regarding this subject. In this, the minimum service condition for promotion has been told. It has been said that all ministries and departments should implement changes in recruitment and service rules in jobs. Pay Band and Grade should be included in the Level Pay Matrix as per the recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission.

Now how many years of job will be required for promotion?

After the recent changes, the rules of promotion will be like this

For promotion to Level 1 and Level 2, 3 years of service will be necessary. For promotion from Level 6 to Level 11, 12 years of experience will be required. At the same time, it will be necessary to have 2 years experience for level 7 and level 8.

When will the dearness allowance increase?

However, the wait is about to end for the employees and pensioners of the Central Government. The Modi government can give a big gift to the central employees and pensioners on festivals. After the start of Navratri, the government can increase the dearness allowance of central employees and pensioners.
