7th Pay Commission: Next year also clear the way to increase DA, salary will also increase in 2023, know update

7th Pay Commission DA Hike: This year in September 2022, DA Hike of 4 percent of central employees has been done. But the way inflation figures are coming, the way for DA Hike is visible in the next year i.e. 2023 as well. In the next year 2023 also there may be a DA hike of 3 percent.


New Delhi: 7th Pay Commission DA Hike: Before the festivals, the Modi government at the Center has given a big gift to the central employees in the form of DA Hike. DA Hike was announced last month i.e. in September and the employees have started getting its benefits along with their salary. Along with this, employees can get another great news from the central government. In fact, the path of DA Hike seems to be clear for the central employees in the next year i.e. 2023 as well.

DA Hike of 4 percent this time

In September last month, 4 percent DA hike of central employees was done. After this, dearness allowance is being given to the central employees at the rate of 38 percent. But according to the way inflation numbers are coming, it is being estimated that even in the year 2023, the path of DA Hike has been cleared. The inflation data from July 2022 to December 2022 will decide how much dearness allowance will increase in January 2023. Now the numbers for two months i.e. July and August have arrived. From this it is being estimated that the next time also there will be an increase of 3 percent in the dearness allowance of the central employees.

AICPI index data released

The Labor Ministry has released the All India Consumer Price Index Industrial Workers’ numbers for central employees. Although this is the figure before the next half, but the increase in this figure seems to clear the way for DA Hike for the next year i.e. 2023. According to the data released, the AICPI index has seen an increase of 0.7 points in July 2022 as compared to June.

Next year also clear the way to increase DA

If we look at the difference in the data of the Consumer Price Index, it was at 129.2 points in the month of June, which has increased in July 2022. With the increase in the index, the way is gradually clearing that there may be an increase in dearness allowance i.e. DA in January 2023 next year as well. However, the figures for five months will have to be seen for how much the increase will be now. The dearness allowance will be decided in January 2023 on the basis of the data of the AICPI index from July to December.
