If the basic salary of an employee is Rs 18,000, then his salary will increase by Rs 720 per month, that is, on an annual basis, the salary of the employees will increase by Rs 8,640. On the other hand, if the basic salary of the employees is Rs. 56900 per month, then their salary will increase by Rs. 2276 per month, that is, the salary will increase by Rs. 27312 on an annual basis. An announcement to increase the salary may be made soon by the government.
Dearness allowance was increased by 4 percent earlier also,
