7th Pay commission latest news: There is a big news related to the Seventh Pay Commission. The government can take a decision on the dearness allowance of central employees before Holi. The DA of the employees is fixed on the basis of inflation. This time DA can be increased by 4 percent. Let’s know the complete details about it.

Central employees can get great news before Holi. The government can take a decision on DA of Central Government Employees in the coming 15 days.

At present, the employees are eagerly waiting for the government’s decision on DA Hike. Now soon this wait of the central government employees is going to end.

If we look at the pattern so far, the decision on DA can be out by Holi. It is believed that the hike in DA will be approved in the cabinet meeting to be held on March 1. This will also include arrears of two months January and February.

Announcement is made before Holi

Central government employees are waiting for DA for the first half of the year 2023. If we look at the pattern till now, the government has been deciding on the Dearness Allowance for the first half of the year before Holi.

However, the time of Corona epidemic is an exception to this. At that time the government had stopped DA. Thus this pattern suggests that the government may announce the first half dearness allowance before Holi. This year Holi will be celebrated on 8 March. In this way, the government’s decision on DA can come in about 15 days. Along with DA, dearness relief (DR) is also announced for pensioners.

Allowance increases in view of inflation

Dearness allowance is announced for central employees keeping in view of inflation. Retail inflation (CPI-IW) data for industrial workers is released by the government every month. These figures are issued by the Labor Bureau of the Ministry of Labour. The decision to increase DA is taken on the basis of this inflation.

How much dearness allowance can increase

According to Shiv Gopal Mishra, general secretary of the All India Railwaymen’s Federation, considering the CPI-IW, there is an increase of 4.23% in DA this time. The government increases DA in round figures. In such a situation, there should be an increase of 4 percent in the dearness allowance this time. Right now the DA is 38 per cent. If it increases by 4 percent, it will become 42 percent. This increase in DA will be applicable from the beginning of this year i.e. from January 1, 2023.
