DA hike will be announced in March 2023

Meanwhile, DA and DR are also being announced for employees and pensioners by different state governments. Now an announcement has been made by the Government of Telangana regarding the outstanding DA and DR.

DA increased to 20.2%

The DA and DA of employees and pensioners have been increased by 2.73% by the Government of Telangana. After this increase, the DA of the employees has increased from 17.29% to 20.2%. State Finance Minister Harish Rao told that this increase will be implemented from July 1, 2021. This money will be deposited in the GPF account of the employees in 8 installments.

Who will get benefit

The benefit of the outstanding DA arrears from the government will be given only to the employees who retire on May 31, 2023. Such employees are exempted from making any contribution to General Provident Fund (GPF) in the last 4 months of service. The Finance Minister said that this decision of the government will benefit 4.4 lakh employees and 2.28 lakh pensioners.
