Now the government can increase the salary of central employees (CG employees) again in the year 2022. What is fitment factor?
The fitment factor is the factor that increases the salary of central employees by more than two and a half times. According to the recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission, the salary of central employees is determined by their basic salary and fitment factor in addition to allowances.
Calculation on salary
Minimum basic salary = Rs 18,000
Salary excluding allowances = 18,000 X 2.57 = Rs 46,260.
26000X3 = Rs.78000 on 3% basis
Total addition = 78000-46,260 = 31,740
