While sharing the information, the government has told that on which day the outstanding amount of DA arrears can be released. Significantly, in January 2022, the Central Government had increased the dearness allowance of employees from 31 percent to 34 percent, but till now the arrears of DA arrears have not been credited to the account of the employees.

Central government released big update

The Central Government had recently issued a notification regarding the arrears of DA arrears of central employees. In this notification, it has been informed that no arrears of DA arrears will be released to any employee before the month of March. The outstanding amount of DA arrears from January to March will not be credited before the month of March. The arrears of DA arrears will be released after the March salary is credited to the employees’ account. Now after the release of salary for March, the arrears of DA arrears can be released in the account of the employees.

Crores of employees will benefit

In January 2022, the central government had decided to increase the dearness allowance of the employees. Now after the month of March, the arrears of DA arrears can be released to the employees. This decision of the central government will benefit more than one crore employees working across the country.

The minimum salary of central employees is Rs 18,000, if the dearness allowance is calculated at the rate of 34 percent, then it becomes Rs 6,120 per month. In this context, the employees are now getting Rs 540 more dearness allowance every month.
