The Gujarat government has approved non-practice allowance for doctors working in their government hospitals and teachers of Medical Education and Research Society medical colleges as per the recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission. In such a situation, there will be a good increase in the salary of the employees.

State Deputy CM and Health Minister Nitin Patel announced this decision as a gift of Rakshabandhan for doctors and college teachers. Let the teachers and doctors have been demanding for a long time. Had gone on strike many times regarding this. Now after the decision of the government, the salary of the employees will increase. Deputy Chief Minister Patel gave information by sharing the post on Facebook. He wrote that the eligible serving doctors of government hospitals and teachers of GMERS Medical College have been approved for NPA.


Allowance received on this condition

The Gujarat government in May this year has cleared the NPAs for teachers of six government medical colleges as per the 7th pay commission. After that, he has been approved on the condition of withdrawing the strike with the teachers of eight GMERS medical colleges.
