7th pay commission latest news: The central government has given a big gift to all the central employees just before Diwali. After increasing the first 3% dearness allowance, now VDA money has been increased.



7th Pay Commission latest news: Central employees have already received the gift of 3% DA (Dearness allowance) and arrears increase before Diwali. With this, now the central government has also given a big gift to other employees before Diwali. Now the variable dearness allowance given to the employees has also increased. Labor Minister Bhupendra Yadav has announced this. Its benefit will be available from 1 October 2021.

Big hike in variable dearness allowance
According to the Union Ministry of Labor & Employment, the increment in the variable dearness allowance of central employees will be applicable from October 1, 2021. Under this, now all central employees will get Variable Dearness Allowance (Variable DA) every month.


Minimum wage will also increase
Let us tell you that this increase will also increase the minimum wage of central employees, which will give them a big relief during this pandemic. Earlier, central employees have also got the benefit of freeze DA for one and a half years. After increasing 28 per cent from the earlier 17 per cent, the 3% DA hike has increased the total DA to 31 per cent.

Which employees will get the benefit?
This decision of the Union Ministry of Labor and Employment will benefit about 1.5 crore employees working in the Central Government, Railways, Mining, Oil Fields, Ports and other Central Government offices. Along with this, the government also told that the employees working on contract will also get the benefit of increase in variable dearness allowance. That is, all types of employees will get its benefit.
