The government has given an order related to giving DA i.e. dearness allowance in public undertakings and corporations. On Thursday (November 25, 2021), Additional Chief Secretary Public Enterprises Arvind Kumar issued a mandate in this regard.

According to the information, 28 percent of the basic pay will be given from July 1, 2021 for the employees who have received the revised pay matric from January 1, 2016. From January 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021, DA will be payable and will be only 17 percent of the basic pay.

At the same time, the employees drawing revised pay with effect from January 1, 2006, who have not selected the revised pay matrix from January 1, 2016 or whose pay scale has not been revised with effect from January 1, 2016 as recommended by the Pay Committee First Report, will be given the first From July 2021, 189% of the basic pay will be payable.

It is said that DA will be admissible only to the employees of those public enterprises, whose internal capacity is capable of bearing the additional expenditure. Enterprises which have been decided to close down, they will not be allowed DA at the increased rate.
