Dearness allowance will be applicable from July 1

According to media reports, this dearness allowance will be applicable from July 1, 2021. It is possible that the dearness allowance of central employees and pension of pensioners should be included in the salary coming before Diwali. Dearness Allowance is calculated on the basic salary. Due to this increase, the central employees have got relief. In fact, since the release of the All India Consumer Price Index (AICPI) data for January to May 2021, DA was expected to increase by 3 percent. The employees were also demanding to increase the DA after the release of these figures.

So receiving money

similarly, if your basic salary is Rs 56,900, then according to 31 percent, you will get Rs 17,639 per month as DA. At the same time, annually you will get Rs 2.11 lakh as DA. Earlier, employees with basic salary of Rs 56900 were getting DA of Rs 9673 at the rate of 17 per cent. That is, his DA has increased by Rs 7966 per month as compared to July 2021.
