7th Pay Commission: Good news! 4 months arrears will come in the account of these employees in November, know how much DA will increase?

New Delhi: There is good news for the retired employees of the Central Government. With the pension of November, the retired employees of the central government will get the benefit of increased dearness relief. Not only this, but the arrears of four months will also be available, due to which the pension of the employees will increase.


The Central Government has increased the DA and DR from July 1. The government has increased this to 31 percent. Apart from this, employees can get the money for the months of July, August, September and October along with the pension of November. As of now, its official announcement has not been made yet, but it can be officially announced soon.

On the basis of the salary received in the 7th Pay Commission, there will be a significant increase in the salary of the officer grade. If someone’s basic salary is currently Rs 31550, then till now they were getting Rs 8834 earlier according to 28 percent DR. But now after increasing the DR from 3 percent to 31 percent, they will get Rs 9781 per month as DR. There will be an increase of Rs 947 in the salary per month.

Similarly, the annual salary will increase by Rs 11,364. If we look at the calculation on the basis of officer grade salary, the DR will increase by Rs 947 every month. This means that the dues for four months will be Rs 3788. If we also include the increased DR of November, then pensioners will get Rs 4375.

Last month, the Union Cabinet had approved 3 per cent hike in Dearness Allowance and Dearness Relief for Central Government employees and pensioners. Earlier, the government had decided to increase the DA for central government employees from 11 per cent to 28 per cent from 17 per cent. In this way, the DA available as 28 percent has reached 31 percent.
