For this, the employee union has written a letter demanding that the bonus amount be paid through the new pay commission. If their demand is accepted then an increase of up to Rs 50,000 can be seen in the salary of the employees.



7th Pay Commission, Employees DA hike, Employees Bonus: The central government can give a big gift to government employees and pensioners before Dussehra Diwali. Their dearness allowance can be increased by 3 to 4%. Orders for this will be issued soon. The proposal is being prepared. Which will be approved in the cabinet meeting. Meanwhile, bonus amount can also be paid to the employees. Due to which they can get double benefit.

Along with the increase in dearness allowance for the second half, the Indian Railway Employees Union has demanded an increase in productivity-linked bonus. Actually RFEF is given the benefit of PLB. Now a demand has been made to increase it. The federation has written a letter to the Railways requesting them to give revised bonus on the basis of the Seventh Pay Commission. Railway Employees Union says that Railways has implemented the recommendation of the Seventh Pay Commission on January 1, 2016. Yet the productivity linked bonus is being calculated and paid to them on the basis of the minimum wage prescribed by the Sixth Pay Commission.

Benefits of PLB

Let us tell you that in the Sixth Pay Commission, the minimum salary for Group D employees was only ₹ 7000, whereas in the 7th Pay Commission, it has been increased to ₹ 18000. According to the Employees Federation, all Group C and Group D employees get only Rs 17951 as bonus. Which is being calculated on the basis of monthly salary of ₹ 7000. Also, the Railway Employees Federation demanded that as per the recommendation of the Seventh Pay Commission, the bonus should be increased to Rs 46,000 by validating the minimum wage.

Bonus payment is being made available to the employees every year before the festival season. Railways pays PLB to non-gazetted employees as an incentive to increase productivity and ensure safety. The amount of PLB is equal to 78 days’ salary. Employees will soon be paid bonus this time too. It is believed that the bonus amount can be given to them before Diwali. Before this, if the demand of Railway Union is accepted then a big increase in their salary will be recorded.

Payment of arrear amount of DA-3 months also

Usually, the central government announces increase in dearness allowance for employees till Dussehra. This time too such hopes are being made. There is an estimated increase of three to four percent in dearness allowance for the coming half year. If there is an increase of three to four percent, the dearness allowance of the employees can be 45 or 46. According to sources, it can be approved in the cabinet meeting in the second week of October. Along with this, the employees will also have to pay the arrear amount of 3 months. With this, an increase of ₹ 20000 to ₹ 25000 can be seen in the salary of the employees. In case of payment of bonus, the benefit of bonus will also be available to the employees.
