New Delhi: More than 65 lakh central government employees are waiting for the increase in dearness allowance. Now very soon their wait may be over. On the occasion of Navratri, the central government can give great news to the employees.

DA increase may be announced on this day

The central government can give great news to the central employees on the occasion of Navratri. According to media reports, on the occasion of Navratri, on 28 September, the central government can announce an increase in dearness allowance.

It is worth noting that this increase in dearness allowance will be payable from July 1, 2022. In this sense, if the dearness allowance of the employees is announced soon, then the happiness of the employees will double during the festive season.

Before Diwali, there will be salary credit with increased dearness allowance in the account of central employees, that is, the employees will get increased salary.

Dearness allowance will increase so much

  • The dearness allowance received by the central employees is assessed by the central government twice every year and it is increased as per the requirement.
  • The increase in dearness allowance depends on the All India Consumer Price Index (AICPI). If there is an increase in the AICPI index, then the dearness allowance is also increased.
  • At present, dearness allowance is being given to central employees at the rate of 34 percent. Now it can be increased by 4 percent. If the central government announces an increase in dearness allowance on the occasion of Navratri, then the central employees will get dearness allowance at the rate of 38 percent.
