The increased DA will come into effect from July 1 after getting the approval of the state cabinet. Last time on May 15, Yogi Adityanath government had also approved the increase in DA. At that time he had approved the decision to increase DA from January 2023.

Elections are going to be held in Rajasthan soon. Ashok Gehlot government of Rajasthan state has increased DA by 4 percent. After this, the current DA has increased from 42 percent to 46 percent. The Election Commission has also approved the proposal of 4 percent increase in dearness allowance for the government employees of Rajasthan.


State employees will benefit

The decision of the Rajasthan government will benefit more than 8 lakh employees and 4 lakh pensioners of the state. If the basic salary of an employee is Rs 10000, then he will get DA of Rs 4,600. Which would have been Rs 4,200 earlier.

Recently these states increased DA

Haryana government has given good news to the employees of its state. Before Diwali, the state government has given gifts to the employees. Following the footsteps of the Central Government, the Haryana Government has increased the Dearness Allowance (DR) by 4 percent. Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has announced a 4 percent increase in DA for state government employees. After this announcement, DA of government employees has been increased from 42 percent to 46 percent.

These states have also increased DA

Before Haryana, other states like Odisha, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu have announced increase in dearness allowance for their government employees before Diwali. While some states have announced a 3% DA hike, other states have announced a 4% DA hike for their employees.
