Recently, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Karnataka and Bihar governments have announced DA increase of employees.

Haryana Government has announced to increase the Dearness Allowance (DA Hike) of the employees. State employees will now get 4 percent increase in dearness allowance. Now it has increased from 46 percent to 50 percent. Dearness allowance will be applicable from January 1, 2024. DA will be paid in April along with March salary.

Jharkhand government increased DA to 50 percent of basic salary

Jharkhand government has increased the DA of state government employees to 50 percent of the basic salary. Till now it was 46 percent. An official said on Tuesday (March 12) that the increase in dearness allowance will be effective from January 1 this year. In the cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Champai Soren, the proposal to increase DA of state government employees and DR for pensioners was approved.

Karnataka government increased DA of its employees from 38.75% to 42.5%.

The Karnataka government has approved increasing the DA of state government employees from 38.75 percent to 42.5 percent. In an official statement on Tuesday (March 12), it was said that dearness allowance of employees drawing central pay scale has been increased from 46 percent to 50 percent. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said in a post on ‘X’ that this amendment will put a burden of Rs 1,792.71 crore on the state every year. This shows our commitment to our employees.

Dearness allowance of government employees increased in Chhattisgarh

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said on Friday (March 15) that the state government has decided to increase the dearness allowance of the state employees by 4 percent in the seventh pay scale, and the dearness relief of pensioners will also increase by 4 percent. . He said that this dearness allowance and dearness relief will be given from March 1, 2024.

Increase in DA of government employees in Bihar

In an important cabinet meeting chaired by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, it has been decided that dearness allowance of government employees will be increased by 4 percent. With this, DA has increased from 46 percent to 50 percent.

Madhya Pradesh government increased dearness allowance of employees by 4 percent

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Friday (March 15) announced a 4 per cent increase in DA of state government employees, taking it to 46 per cent. The increased DA will be paid to the employees from July 1 last year.
