7th Pay Commission: DA arrears will be released soon, 2 lakh rupees will come in the account of employees, know update

New Delhi: Soon the central government is going to give a big gift to the central employees. The government can release the arrears of DA to about 31 lakh employees on the occasion of New Year.


It is worth noting that the outstanding installments of DA have been released for the central employees last year. But till now the amount of these installments has not been released in the account of the employees.

DA arrears pending for 18 months

According to a government report, in the year 2019, the number of central employees in the country was 31.43 lakh. During the Corona period, the installments of dearness allowance to the central employees were stopped.

Last year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had taken a decision to restore them after the conditions returned to normalcy in the country.

In this context, the arrears of dearness allowance has not been released to the central employees for the last one and a half years. Soon this arrear amount can be released in the account of the employees.

DA and DR may increase

According to media reports, soon the Central Cabinet can hold a meeting regarding the DA and DR to be given to the central employees. A big decision can be taken in the cabinet meeting regarding the increase in DA and DR.

Apart from this, the compensation amount received by the government employees can also be increased.

Pensioners will also get benefit

The arrears for DA and DR can also be released to central pensioners in the country soon. For central employees and pensioners, the increase is done 2 times every year.
