It was announced by the government to increase the dearness allowance for January in March. At that time the government had increased the dearness allowance from 31 percent to 34 percent. Along with this, there was talk of giving three months arrears to the employees. Now on increasing DA by 4 percent, dearness allowance will increase to 38 percent. The next dearness allowance will be announced by the central government after July. But its arrears will be available from July. From the AICPI index, it is estimated that how much will increase in DA? The AICPI index has been increasing continuously since February. It was 125.1 in January, which fell to 125 in February. After this it increased to 126 in March and 127.1 in April. AICPI data is released by the Ministry of Labor and Employment on the last working day of every month.
